Kicked off the season at Cougar Canyon and went back to Mega Man. I’ve tried this one a handful of times, but always hesitated on the final lunge—the exposure with the rocky pit next to you makes it hard to fully commit. Felt good to finally go for it.

This was my first time travelling abroad for climbing and what better place to start then the legendary Fontainebleau. It was amazing! I mostly just ran around the forest doing circuits but the highlight of the trip was sending Le Toit du Cul de Chien.

I went to The Slayers boulders in Penticton this weekend. I was here 3 years ago when I first started climbing outside and everything seemed so high and intimidating so I didn't get much done but this time was different. Sent a few classic problems and managed to get my second V8!

Went to a new area in the boulderfields today called Distillery. Mostly just played around on some moderate problems. The highlight was this cool v3 called Butterscotch Ripple.

After Fontainebleau I went to Wales and did some bouldering in the north of Wales. It was a bit of a hike to get up to these boulders but the view was definitely worth it!

This was the first trip to Squamish this season, hopefully with many more to come. I love this place. I tried the mega classic boulder Majestic, a deep water solo boulder on the edge of the ocean. This is by far the coolest boulder I have tried. I didn't quite get the send, I fell at the top trying to mantel over. I guess that just means I have to come back again :)
